Megan Turner Photography

My body of work is focusing on how individuals can represent themselves through photography. I find it interesting using self-portraits to express those inner emotions and turn that into visual work. All the work created reveal natural stills, where at the time I would simply pick up the camera and photograph myself when I felt most articulate within my emotions.

The work was entitled ‘This is meg’ and I wanted to show the story of metal health through the relationship with the camera. I found this project really challenging but very empowering for myself and being able to express pure and natural emotions to a larger audience.
